NU SKIN SURPASSES 400 MILLION MEALS DONATED

THROUGH ITS NOURISH THE CHILDREN INITIATIVE

Fitting Milestone as Company Concludes 30th Anniversary Celebration

PROVO, Utah—Dec. 17, 2014—Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. today announced that more than 400 million meals have been purchased and donated to help malnourished children around the world through its Nourish the Children initiative. Established in 2002, the innovative social enterprise program enables Nu Skin’s sales leaders, customers, and employees to purchase nutrient-dense VitaMeal®* and donate it to charity partners that deliver the food to children in need in more than 30 countries.

“Reaching the milestone of 400 million meals purchased and donated to malnourished children is a fitting way to conclude our 30th anniversary year,” said Steven J. Lund, chairman of Nu Skin Enterprises board of directors. “Since our founding, we wanted Nu Skin to be a force for good in the world. This milestone reflects the generosity and goodness of our sales leaders, customers and employees across the globe and we thank all those who are helping to alleviate the plague of childhood malnutrition with their donations of VitaMeal.”

About Nourish the Children

In 2002, Nu Skin took action to address the tragedy of childhood hunger and malnutrition with the development of the Nourish the Children initiative. This innovative social enterprise applies the rigor of successful business practices to provide a consistent and growing supply of nourishing food to the world’s most needy children. This concept succeeds by developing a highly nutritious food – VitaMeal – and then supporting sales leaders, customers and employees in their purchase and donation of the meals to third-party nonprofit organizations that specialize in distributing food to those suffering from malnutrition and famine.

About VitaMeal

Unlike simple grains with purely caloric benefit, VitaMeal is a nutrient-dense food scientifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of malnourished children. Working with experts in child malnutrition in third-world countries, Nu Skin developed VitaMeal to provide essential vitamins and minerals, a balance of carbohydrates, protein, fat and fiber, and essential fatty acids required for normal brain development, skin health, and immune defense.**

In response to the immense need for VitaMeal in Malawi and China, the company operates manufacturing plants in these respective areas. The plants support the local economies by providing jobs and purchasing local produce for the VitaMeal.
